Your personality has really started to show this month. You are a quiet, content little guy almost all of the time. You start getting grumpy and fussy when you are tired, but that's it!
You are also laughing and smiling a lot more! Your giggle is infectious.
You are making lots of vocalizations now too! You sit and talk to yourself while you play. You also imitate mouth movements, which is really funny.
You still have your serious look pretty often, too.
You are still working on those bottom teeth. I think they are causing you some trouble, but they haven't popped through yet. You aren't napping very well right now and I think it might be because of your teeth.
You can get both of your feet into your mouth. Impressive!
We finally broke you of the swaddle this month! You started rolling over in the swaddle, so we had to cold turkey get rid of it. You started sleeping in your zipadeezip and do well in it. You sleep on your belly or side a lot. Your daddy and I kept waking up to check the video monitor and make sure you weren't sleeping face down, but you seemed to do just fine.
I am loving this age! You interact with us but can also entertain yourself for a little bit. You look like Charlie Brown, so Grandma Debbie bought you a cute Charlie Brown tshirt.
Cousin Eddie?
This picture is from today and you were laughing and playing with me. Too cute!
We had dinner with Aubry and Jeremy last weekend. They drove all the way in just to see you!
Dinner with Mawmaw and Jim. We took you to Chicken in the Egg and you talked the whole time while we ate dinner. Loudly. Mawmaw thought it was funny!
I took you to participate in a study on infant visual tracking. This is the student that completed the testing with you.
We went to get your first Christmas tree today and you were so sweet. I put you in the baby Bjorn while we were looking at trees, but facing out, for the first time and you loved it! I also took you out to Phipps for black Friday for an hour or so and you were perfect!
You got a jumperoo this month and really love playing in it. You will play in it for 30 minutes or so all by yourself. You haven't quite figured out the jumping part, though.
We took you to see Santa for the first time at Phipps. You didn'd mind Santa at all. You just stared at him. This is you and your precious Santa longall. I could just eat you up!
Your first Thanksgiving!
You are much more tolerant of tummy time now that you can hold your chest up off the floor.
You are almost sitting up! You can sit up for a few seconds and then you fall over. I think you will have it in the next couple of weeks.
You are growing up so fast! Holidays are so much better now that you are here. We are so excited for your first Christmas!
